Hyundai Maintenance Schedule

Do you own a Hyundai? If so, do you know the hyundai maintenance schedule that is needed for your specific model? It’s important to follow the maintenance schedule provided by the manufacturer in order to keep up with auto repair services that will keep your Hyundai on the roads of PA for as long as possible.

Preventative Hyundai Maintenance

The scheduled maintenance specifically depends on the model year of your Hyundai and specific to the engine that you have. Most models have service intervals of 6,000 miles or 7,500 miles, but you can’t rely on that exclusively. Furthermore, if you're a multiple Hyundai owner, each vehicle might require entirely different intervals, especially if it's pre-owned. Once your hyundai maintenance schedule begins, for most models, the intervals typically continue in increments of 15,000, 22,500, 30,000, and so on, throughout your ownership.

Generally, your preventative hyundai service will involve one or more of the below examples.
  • Inspection or Replacement of Fluids
  • A Multi-point inspection
  • Inspecting for Fluid Leaks
  • Brake Inspection
  • Inspect Engine Air Filter
  • Inspect Drive Belts
  • Battery Inspection and Testing

Again, it cannot be stressed enough that not every model or model year follows the same hyundai maintenance schedule. Keep your Hyundai going as long as possible by scheduling preventative maintenance, especially oil changes. View our suggested maintenance schedule here. We've done all the research so that you won't have to.

Incidentally, the 2020 Auto Show is coming to our area in February at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for 10 days, and Hyundai plans to unveil new models. Perhaps we will see some of you there!

Why Should I Use a Hyundai Maintenance Schedule?

The start of a new year is the ideal opportunity to assess the required maintenance for your vehicle – particularly a Hyundai. A major contributing factor for having a hyundai maintenance scheduleHyundai that has a high trade-in or resale value is by staying up-to-date with regularly scheduled maintenance. And the automaker has clear guidelines established for its unprecedented 10-year/100,000-mile warranty.

To achieve having a high-performing and long-lasting vehicle, you must follow the hyundai maintenance schedule as prescribed. Doing so will not only keep your vehicle running smoothly, but you may also have much more confidence while driving and potentially lower your risk of having a mechanical breakdown. Other benefits include slowing depreciation and even improved fuel economy.
